Bake A Wish is a charity that enables Cake Makers to donate a cake to a sick child to help make their birthday extra special. I had the honour of doing my 2nd Bake A Wish cake in March.

Brandon turned 6 and asked for a Super hero Birthday Cake with the message 'No More Chemo', the rest was up to me. I really wanted to make the cake special, so I tried something that I haven't done before. It's called a double sided cake - basically two cakes in one.

It was time consuming and kind of turned it to a labour of love. Brandon's Mum and Brandon were delighted with the cake so I was one happy caker. I know this won't be my last Bake A Wish Cake. For more info on their wonderful work, check them out at
