My daughter adores Tom & Jerry and when I asked her what she wanted on her Birthday Cake, she was quick to ask for them. We looked at some pictures on Pinterest and she liked the ones with Tom chasing Jerry with Balloons on it.

I changed the cake slightly as most were one or two tiers, and instead went for a tall, double barrel cake. This is basically, two 6' cakes stacked on each other. I also tried drawing and painting for the first time. Tom & Jerry are hand painted. I was delighted how they turned out, time consuming but enjoyable to try a new technique
